The streets I drove on in Cuba were insane. Even growing up in the cold wrapped in a Midwestern roads in and around Havana gave new meaning to the concept of what a pothole can be. Destroyed roads can be found in a very tourist-commercial areas of the city, but are more common as you move away from center.

One day in the Autoblog in Cuba adventure took us just such an area: the surrounding area outside of Central Havana, called San Francisco. I’ll have much more for You on the trip we took the car and we went next week, but you can get fast moves seem to drive the route in the video here.

Even with almost an hour of driving compressed into two minutes of video, you can get an extraordinary sense of taste on the spot. It should be noted that the traffic you see here is the most congested I’ve seen Havana to get: not much. I also went to the carnival at the time of installation, which was a mistake… enjoy, and look for more from Cuba next week.
